Section 43-26-8 - Temporary permits

(a) A temporary permit may be issued to an applicant for licensure by examination, endorsement, or reinstatement in accordance with criteria established by the board.(b) A six-month temporary permit may be issued to a graduate of a nontraditional nursing education program that meets the requirements of subsection (e) of Code Section 43-26-7 to practice nursing only as a part of his or her board approved preceptorship.
