Section 43-50-80 - Good faith emergency treatment to sick or injured animals; no liability

Any person who gratuitously and in good faith administers emergency treatment to a sick or injured animal at the scene of an accident or emergency shall not be in violation of this chapter and shall not be liable to the owner of such animal in any civil action for damages; provided, however, that this Code section shall not provide immunity for acts of gross negligence.Renumbered from § 43-50-60 by 2006 Ga.
