(a) Each regional commission shall have an executive director who shall serve at the pleasure of the council and who shall be subject to appointment and removal by a majority vote of the members of the council. The executive director shall perform such duties as assigned by the council.(b) Each regional commission council shall require performance standards for measurement of the activities of the regional commission. The council shall conduct an annual performance review of the executive director of the regional commission measured by standards developed by the council.Amended by 2008 Ga.
