Each regional commission exists for nonprofit and public purposes; and it is found and declared that the carrying out of the purposes of each regional commission is exclusively for public benefit and its property is public property. Thus, no regional commission shall be required to pay any state or local ad valorem, sales, use, or income taxes.Amended by 2008 Ga. Laws 436,§ 5, eff. 7/1/2009.
