Section 8-2-144 - Reporting and accounting for fees

The Commissioner of Insurance shall file a report on or before December 15 of each year accounting for all fees received by the Commissioner under this part and Part 3 of this article for the preceding 12 month period and for the actual costs of the inspection programs under this part and Part 3 of this article for the preceding 12 month period. Such report shall be provided to the chairpersons of the House Appropriations Committee, the Senate Appropriations Committee, the House Governmental Affairs Committee, and the Senate Regulated Industries and Utilities Committee, the director of the Office of Planning and Budget, the director of the Senate Budget and Evaluation Office, and the director of the House Budget and Research Office.Amended by 2014 Ga. Laws 669,§ 8, eff. 4/29/2014.Added by 2004 Ga. Laws 557, § 1, eff. 1/1/2005. Any provision of 2004 Ga. Laws 557 relating to the payment of fees shall become effective on October 1, 2004.
