DIVISION 1 GENERAL PROVISIONS CHAPTER 1 DEFINITIONS NOTE: With the enactment of legislation subsequent to P.L. 1 -088 (Nov. 29, 1952), the definitions found in this Chapter (§§ 1103, 1104 and 1105) pertain only to the Department of Education. § 1101. School Naming. The Board is authorized to designate by appropriate name the public schools. Any name of any school in effect at the time of the enactment of this Section shall continue in effect until a new name is assigned by the Board. The trophy heretofore named the Albert Gene Roberts Memorial Trophy to honor the late student Albert Gene Roberts who was known for his good sportsmanship and who contributed much to the group efforts of his fellow teammates for the benefit of the John F. Kennedy football team. At such ceremony as the Director of Education deems appropriate, said trophy shall be so officially named, at which time a memorial trophy bearing the name of said student shall be affixed at a suitable spot within the John F. All student identification cards issued to persons under the age of eighteen (18) years of age, who are enrolled in any public education institution of the government of Guam, including the o Minors.
