§286-202.8 Mudguards; protective devices. (a) A commercial motor vehicle shall not be operated on the public highways unless the vehicle is equipped with fenders, covers, or other devices, including flaps or splash aprons, to minimize the spray or splash of water or mud to the rear of the vehicle. (b) Violation of this section shall be subject to a fine of $50, notwithstanding section 286-206. [L 2005, c 134, pt of §1]
