§321-223 State emergency medical services system, establishment. The department shall establish, administer, and maintain the state emergency medical services system to serve the emergency health needs of the people in the service area. All emergency medical services or ambulance services contracted by or under the authority of the department or any county within the service area shall be consistent with this part.
