§457G-1 Definitions. As used in this chapter unless the context otherwise requires: 'Department' means the department of commerce and consumer affairs. 'Director' means the director of commerce and consumer affairs. 'Foreign-trained person' means a person who has completed an educational program or course of study in occupational therapy in an institution located outside the United States. 'Occupational therapist' means a person who engages in the practice of occupational therapy in this State. 'Occupational therapy assistant' means a person who engages in the practice of occupational therapy under the supervision of and in partnership with an occupational therapist.
