§471-9.7 Sponsors; responsibilities. For the purposes of this chapter and rules adopted by the board, a sponsor shall be responsible for: (1) Determining the level of supervision required for the sponsored individual; (2) The veterinary care given to the animal patient by the sponsored individual; (3) Ensuring that the board has been notified in writing; and (4) Confirming that the sponsored individual has obtained the appropriate courtesy permit or relief permit from the board.
