§482D-7 Violation of fineness standards and stamping requirements. (a) A person commits a criminal offense if the person is a manufacturer or dealer of gold or silver articles of merchandise and the person sells or possesses articles of merchandise which violates section 482D-3, 482D-4, or 482D-5. If the aggregate value of the articles which violate section 482D-3, 482D-4, or 482D-5 is $300 or less, the offense shall be a misdemeanor. If the aggregate value of the articles which violate section 482D-3, 482D-4, or 482D-5 exceeds $300, the offense shall be a class C felony. (b) Each and every person, being a manufacturer of or a wholesale or retail dealer in gold or silver jewelry or articles, who shall knowingly violate section 482D-3, 482D-4, or 482D-5, shall be deemed guilty of a class C felony.
