§88-184 Expenses; appropriations. The members of the pension boards shall serve without pay, but the respective county councils shall appropriate annually a sum sufficient to, and shall, defray the necessary expenses of the boards, including moneys required to cover the payment of pensions granted under this part; provided that the board of water supply of the city and county of Honolulu shall annually appropriate sufficient moneys to cover, and there shall be paid from such moneys, pensions granted under this part as a result of employment in the service of the board of water supply.
