§ 1-1-3-1-2

For purposes of this chapter, 'approval of the act' occurs at the time the second house of the general assembly votes to approve a bill over the governor's veto under Article 5, Section 14 of the Constitution of the State of Indiana. 'Second house of the general assembly' refers to the house of the general assembly that reconsiders a bill vetoed by the governor under Article 5, Section 14 of the Constitution of the State of Indiana after the house in which the bill originated has passed the bill over the governor's veto.As added by P.L.1-1987, SEC.2.
