§ 1-1-3-5-2-5

As used in this chapter, 'special tabulation' means a certification of the census population count for a political subdivision that:(1) is issued by the Bureau of the Census:(A) at the request of a political subdivision; and(B) after the tabulation of population of Indiana in the federal decennial census has been reported to the governor by the United States Secretary of Commerce under 13 U.S.C. 141(c); and(2) indicates the census count population for the political subdivision that would have been reported under subdivision (1) if individuals residing in territory:(A) not located within the political subdivision according to the Boundary and Annexation Survey used as the basis for the tabulation of population reported under subdivision (1); and(B) located within the political subdivision after the tabulation of population reported under subdivision (1);had been included in the tabulation of population of the political subdivision reported to the governor by the United States Secretary of Commerce.As added by P.L.2-1990, SEC.1.
