(2) The day the member is appointed.(b) The term of a member expires on the later of the following:(1) The day a successor is appointed.(2) July 1 of the year following the year in which the member is appointed.However, a member serves at the pleasure of the appointing authority.(c) An appointing authority may reappoint a member for a new term.(d) An appointing authority shall appoint an individual to fill a vacancy on the commission.As added by P.L.144-2007, SEC.16.
