As used in this chapter, 'prisoner of war or person missing in action' means a person who:(1) was a resident of Indiana at the time the person entered service of the United States armed forces; and(2) while serving in the United States armed forces, was declared a prisoner of war or a person missing in action as established by the United States Secretary of Defense after January 1, 1960.[Pre-2003 Recodification Citation: 10-5-16.5-1.]As added by P.L.2-2003, SEC.8.
