The superintendent of the Indiana Veterans' Home may make agreements with instrumentalities of the federal government for application of monetary awards to be applied toward the maintenance charges to provide a sufficient amount of the periodic award to be deposited in the member's trust account to meet the immediate personal needs of a member.
