Except as provided in section 4 of this chapter, a correctional police officer may:(1) make an arrest;(2) conduct a search or a seizure of a person or property;(3) carry a firearm; and(4) exercise other police powers with respect to the enforcement of Indiana laws.As added by P.L.77-2009, SEC.5.
