Except as provided in section 2 of this chapter, if the administrator of the office determines that there are reasonable grounds to suspect that a provider has received payments that the provider is not entitled to under Medicaid, the administrator shall certify the evidence of the suspected activity to the state Medicaid fraud control unit established under IC 4-6-10.[Pre-1992 Revision Citation: 12-1-7-15.8.]As added by P.L.2-1992, SEC.9.
