§ 12-15-25-1

(a) As used in this section, 'solicitation' means a direct communication initiated by a provider doing business in Indiana to an individual or a provider in another state with the intent of inducing a nonresident of Indiana to relocate the person's residence to Indiana for the purpose of obtaining Medicaid under Title XIX of the federal Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1396 et seq.).(b) A provider that is:(1) licensed by the state; and(2) doing business in Indiana;may not make a solicitation to a person who is eligible for Medicaid under Title XIX of the federal Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1396 et seq.).[Pre-1992 Revision Citation: 12-1-7-16.2(a), (b).]As added by P.L.2-1992, SEC.9.
