As used in this chapter, 'special skilled services' refers to medical and health services that are provided to a patient who is:(1) chronically medically dependent; and(2) in need of a level of care that is less intensive than the care provided in a hospital licensed under IC 16-21.As added by P.L.76-1992, SEC.3.
