If the individual's attending or examining physician determines that the individual has failed to comply with the requirements under section 8 of this chapter and is likely to be dangerous or gravely disabled, the individual:(1) may, in accordance with IC 12-24-8, be returned to the facility to which the individual is committed under this article as an inpatient; or(2) may be transferred to a short term sub-acute stabilization treatment program under this chapter.[Pre-1992 Revision Citation: 16-14-9.1-20.1(c).]As added by P.L.2-1992, SEC.20.
