(a) The board of commissioners of a county may:(1) delegate the performance of the board's duties under this article; and(2) contract for the services reasonably required to operate and maintain the county home, including the management of the county home;on terms and conditions the board finds reasonable and in the best interests of the county.(b) Any action taken by the board of commissioners of a county under this section does not constitute a discontinuance under section 6 of this chapter as long as the board's actions under this section do not limit the ultimate authority of the board of commissioners over the county home.As added by P.L.172-2017, SEC.5.
