(b) 'Responsible person', for purposes of IC 13-25-4, means a person that is:(1) liable to:(A) the United States government;(B) the state; or(C) any other person;under Section 107 of CERCLA (42 U.S.C. 9607); or(2) liable to the state under IC 13-25-4-8.(c) 'Responsible person', for purposes of IC 13-18-16-7.5, has the meaning set forth in IC 13-18-16-7.5(a).[Pre-1996 Recodification Citations: subsection (a) formerly 13-7-20.1-6; subsection (b) formerly 13-7-8.7-1(j).]As added by P.L.1-1996, SEC.1.
