(a) 'Solvolysis' means a manufacturing process:(1) through which post-use polymers are purified with the aid of solvents while:(A) heated at low temperatures;(B) pressurized; or(C) heated at low temperatures and pressurized;allowing the removal of additives and contaminants; and(2) resulting in the following products:(A) Monomers.(B) Intermediates.(C) Valuable chemicals.(D) Plastics.(E) Chemical feedstocks.(F) Raw materials.(b) The process includes:(1) hydrolysis;(2) aminolysis;(3) ammonoloysis;(4) methanolysis; and(5) glycolysis.As added by P.L.54-2023, SEC.16.
