(a) 'Storage', for purposes of environmental management laws and when used in connection with hazardous waste, means the containment of hazardous waste, either on a temporary basis or for a period of years, in a manner that does not constitute disposal of the hazardous waste.(b) 'Storage', for purposes of IC 13-22-10, means:(1) the containment of hazardous waste requiring a permit under rules adopted under IC 13-22-2-4; or(2) the containment of low level radioactive waste, either on a temporary basis or for a period of years, in a manner that does not constitute disposal of the low level radioactive waste.(c) 'Storage', for purposes of IC 13-22-12, includes:(1) interim status; and(2) permitted;hazardous waste storage.(d) 'Storage', for purposes of IC 13-29-1, means the temporary holding of waste for treatment or disposal.[Pre-1996 Recodification Citations: subsection (a) formerly 13-7-1-3 part; 13-7-1-24; subsection (b) formerly 13-7-8.6-2(g); subsection (c) formerly 13-7-16.1-3(f); subsection (d) formerly 13-5-9-2 part.]As added by P.L.1-1996, SEC.1.
