(b) The commissioner shall:(1) issue an advisory to the users and owners of a water well found to be contaminated concerning the hazards to health posed by the contamination;(2) take emergency action, including emergency action under IC 13-14-10, to reduce exposure to well water contaminants that pose a threat to human health; and(3) as appropriate to safeguard human health, order abandonment of contaminated water wells.[Pre-1996 Recodification Citation: 13-7-26-5.]As added by P.L.1-1996, SEC.8.
