A person may not establish a sanitary landfill for the disposal of garbage, rubbish, or refuse on land in Indiana within one-half (1/2) mile of an area:(1) that has been subdivided for residential purposes; and(2) for which the plat is on file in the office of the county recorder at the time the landfill is established.[Pre-1996 Recodification Citation: 13-7-19-2.]As added by P.L.1-1996, SEC.10.
