Except as provided in section 8 of this chapter, a person that applies for a permit to operate a:(1) hazardous waste landfill;(2) solid waste landfill; or(3) transfer station;must establish financial responsibility for the costs of closure and postclosure monitoring and maintenance of the hazardous waste landfill, solid waste landfill, or transfer station.[Pre-1996 Recodification Citation: 13-7-32-4.]As added by P.L.1-1996, SEC.12.
