(a) Except as provided in section 18 and sections 25 through 27 of this chapter, a person who, without a permit, conducts a field investigation or alters historic property within the boundaries of property owned or leased by the state commits a Class A infraction.(b) Notwithstanding IC 34-28-5-4, a judgment for a Class A infraction imposed under this section may not exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000).[Pre-1995 Recodification Citation: 14-3-3.4-7.]As added by P.L.1-1995, SEC.14.
