The clerk shall cause notice to be given at least thirty (30) days before the date set for the hearing as follows:(1) By publication one (1) time each week for two (2) consecutive weeks:(A) with each publication:(i) in not less than two (2) newspapers of general circulation published in each county in which the lake is located; or(ii) if there are not two (2) newspapers of general circulation published in a county, in one (1) newspaper of general circulation published in the county; or(B) with the first publication of notice in a newspaper or newspapers described in clause (A) and the second publication of notice:(i) in accordance with IC 5-3-5; and(ii) on the official web site of each county in which the lake is located.(2) By posting a written or printed notice at the door of the courthouse in each county in which the lake lies.(3) By sending written notice to the following:(A) The county surveyor and county commissioners of each county affected.(B) The department.(b) The notice must do the following:(1) Briefly e lake lies.(3) By sending written notice to the following:(A) The county surveyor and county commissioners of each county affected.(B) The department.(b) The notice must do the following:(1) Briefly describe the location and nature of the proposed work contained in the petition.(2) Fix a day for the hearing on the petition.[Pre-1995 Recodification Citation: 13-2-18-3 part.]As added by P.L.1-1995, SEC.19.
