Promptly after being appointed or elected under this chapter, a director shall take the following oath: 'I do solemnly swear that I shall, to the best of my ability, strive to accomplish the purposes for which the district is established and properly to operate and maintain its works of improvement.'.As added by P.L.185-1995, SEC.2.
