'Personal watercraft', for purposes of IC 14-15 and IC 14-33-24, means a watercraft:(1) whose primary source of motive power is an inboard motor powering a water jet pump; and(2) that is designed to be operated by a person who sits, stands, or kneels on the surface of the watercraft rather than sitting or standing inside the watercraft.As added by P.L.57-1995, SEC.7.
