(a) A person who knowingly or intentionally violates:(1) a term, condition, or requirement of a license issued; or(2) a rule adopted;under this chapter is subject to a civil penalty, determined by the state seed commissioner, not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000) per violation. The state seed commissioner may also revoke the license of a person who violates this subsection.(b) A person who knowingly or intentionally:(1) grows hemp;(2) handles hemp; or(3) sells agricultural hemp seed;not including smokable hemp (as defined by IC 35-48-1-26.6), and is not licensed under this chapter, commits a Class A misdemeanor.As added by P.L.190-2019, SEC.21.
