A person who knowingly or intentionally:(1) alters or changes an animal's official identification to conceal the identity of an animal;(2) interferes with the official identification of a diseased domestic animal;(3) removes, without permission of the board, except as provided in this article, any animal from a herd placed under quarantine; or(4) alters or changes the official identification of any domestic animal;commits a Level 6 felony.[Pre-2008 Recodification Citation: 15-2.1-21-2.]As added by P.L.2-2008, SEC.8.
