'Recognized accrediting organization', for purposes of IC 16-21-2, refers to an organization that awards accreditation to hospitals and has been granted deemed status by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services of meeting the Medicare and Medicaid certification requirements.As added by P.L.81-2018, SEC.1.
