'Trauma care', for purposes of IC 16-19-3-28, means the assessment, diagnosis, transportation, treatment, or rehabilitation by a health care provider of an acute bodily injury that requires immediate intervention to prevent the loss of life or a serious impairment of a body function or part.As added by P.L.155-2006, SEC.1.
