'Device', for purposes of IC 16-42-1 through IC 16-42-4 except for IC 16-42-1-7, IC 16-42-1-16(7), IC 16-42-2-3(7), IC 16-42-3-4(3), and IC 16-42-4-3(3), means instruments, apparatus, and contrivances, including their components, parts, and accessories, intended:(1) for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease in man or other animals; or(2) to affect the structure or any function of the body of man or other animals.[Pre-1993 Recodification Citation: 16-1-28-3(f).]As added by P.L.2-1993, SEC.1.
