5; or(2) have at least:(A) a master's degree in public health; and(B) five (5) years of experience in public health;and be approved in accordance with IC 16-20-2-16.(b) Beginning July 1, 2023, any individual listed in subsection (a) who is newly appointed to the position of a local health officer shall complete a public health foundation training course developed and approved by the state department.As added by P.L.164-2023, SEC.18.
