The officers of the board are president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. The officers must be board members, except that the board may appoint a separate treasurer from outside the board membership as provided by section 14 of this chapter.(b) The officers serve from the date of election until February 1 of the next year and until respective successors are elected and qualified.(c) If a vacancy exists in any office at a time other than the date for the annual election of officers, the governing board shall fill the vacancy for the unexpired term.[Pre-1993 Recodification Citation: 16-12.2-5-10.]As added by P.L.2-1993, SEC.6.
