Joint operation may include joint employment of an administrator and other personnel, joint policies, joint purchases, joint services, and other programs to reduce the costs of health care. The board of directors of the city hospital may contract with the hospital board of the county hospital to provide for the manner of allocation of revenues and expenditures and the administration of the hospitals.
