(a) The department of homeland security established by IC 10-19-2-1 may issue an order to a person who has practiced without a certificate or license in violation of this article imposing a civil penalty of not more than five hundred dollars ($500) per occurrence.(b) A decision of the department of homeland security under subsection (a) may be appealed to the commission under IC 4-21.5-3-7.[Pre-1993 Recodification Citation: 16-1-39-21.]As added by P.L.2-1993, SEC.14.
