§ 16-36-5-20

A health care provider who in good faith and in accordance with reasonable medical standards:(1) participates in the withholding or withdrawal of CPR from a declarant:(A) by whom an out of hospital DNR declaration and order has been executed under this chapter; or(B) who has revoked an out of hospital DNR declaration and order when the health care provider has no notice of the revocation; or(2) provides CPR to a declarant:(A) when the health care provider has no notice of the out of hospital DNR declaration and order; or(B) after a revocation of an out of hospital DNR declaration and order;is not subject to criminal or civil liability and may not be found to have committed an act of unprofessional conduct.As added by P.L.148-1999, SEC.12.
