In the resolution creating a county school corporation or metropolitan school district or in the petitions requesting the creation of or requesting a referendum on the question of creating a corporation or district under section 2 of this chapter, the resolutions or petitions may specify when a school corporation or school district shall be created and the corporation or district shall then be created at the time provided in the resolutions or petitions.[Pre-2005 Elementary and Secondary Education Recodification Citation: 20-4-8-25.]As added by P.L.1-2005, SEC.7.
