'Organizer' means an entity that:(1) is a nonprofit corporation that is incorporated or registered in Indiana;(2) has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service to be tax exempt and maintains such tax exempt status; and(3) has an independent board whose members have been elected or selected under the organizer's application and that has entered into a contract under this article to operate a charter school.[Pre-2005 Elementary and Secondary Education Recodification Citation: 20-5.5-1-9.]As added by P.L.1-2005, SEC.8.
