(a) Educators in each school are responsible for improving student achievement in the school and may develop the educators' own school plan to achieve improvement that:(1) conforms to the guidelines issued by the board; and(2) has a cost that does not exceed the amount allocated to the school under section 5 of this chapter.(b) Educators may use traditional or innovative techniques that the educators believe will:(1) best maintain a secure and supportive educational environment; and(2) improve student achievement.[Pre-2005 Elementary and Secondary Education Recodification Citation: 20-3.1-9-2.]As added by P.L.1-2005, SEC.9.
