As used in this chapter, 'annex', 'annexing', 'annexation', and 'school annexation' mean an action in which the boundaries of a school corporation are changed so that additional territory, constituting all or a part of one (1) or more other school corporations, is transferred to the acquiring school corporation.[Pre-2005 Elementary and Secondary Education Recodification Citation: 20-3-14-1.]As added by P.L.1-2005, SEC.9.
