The governing body of a school corporation or the equivalent for a charter school may do the following for the school corporation or charter school police department:(1) Appoint school corporation or charter school police officers.(2) Prescribe the duties and direct the conduct of school corporation or charter school police officers.(3) Prescribe distinctive uniforms.(4) Provide emergency vehicles.As added by P.L.132-2007, SEC.7.
