§ 20-26-7-37

(a) If the governing body proposes to construct, repair, or alter a school building at a cost of more than one million dollars ($1,000,000) that would be financed by:(1) entering into a lease agreement under IC 20-47-2-11 through IC 20-47-2-14 or IC 20-47-3-9 through IC 20-47-3-12;(2) issuing bonds under IC 20-48-1; or(3) any other available method;the governing body must hold a public hearing at which explanations of the potential value of the proposed project to the school corporation and to the community shall be given and at which interested parties may present testimony and questions.(b) Notice of the hearing shall be given in accordance with IC 5-3-1.
