(a) The department shall annually prepare a report that includes the following information regarding teachers licensed in Indiana:(1) The total number of teachers who hold licenses in one (1) or more content areas.(2) The total number of teachers who teach in the content area for which the teacher holds a teaching license.(3) The total number of teachers who:(A) teach under a license or permit issued by the department;(B) completed a teacher preparation program (as defined in IC 20-28-3-1(b)); and(C) have not passed the teacher licensing examinations under section 12 of this chapter.(4) The percentage of teachers who complete a particular teacher preparation program who are teaching in Indiana:(A) five (5) years; and(B) ten (10) years;after completion of the particular teacher preparation program, disaggregated by teacher preparation program.(b) Not later than October 1 of each year, the department shall submit the report prepared under subsection (a) to the:(1) legislative council; and(2) interim study committee on education established by IC 2-5-1.3-4;in an electronic format under IC 5-14-6.(c) The department shall post the report prepared under subsection (a) on the
